Re: GNOME Weekly News 20th to 26th October

GFileRunner doesn't support GNOME 2. And from what I've seen it's slower than Nautilus 2. The startup time is lower, but if I click Refresh, it takes much more time to read my home folder than Nautilus 2 does. Furthermore, GFileRunner doesn't draw desktop icons like Nautilus does, has no side pane besides the Tree View, and doesn't support Bonobo as well as Nautilus does.

Have you ever looked into Nautilus's source code? It's much more complex and nearly everything is Bonobo-fied.

If you're so productive, why don't you join Nautilus development instead? I'm sure they could use somebody like you.
