sorry I guess I was a bit contradictory there. I don't really like Nautilus as a filemanager cause I prefer the two-pan mc/nortons paradigm.

From my point of view nautilus should be a very simple filemanager, with a few eye-candy features (pretty icons for me) for the simple end-user that wants to move a few files around. Maybe a few feaures such as virtual fs for smb and nfs and of course good accessibility stuff. But it shouldn't try to be the be all and end all of filemanagement for every user.

There are other free filemanagers that people can download if they have specific needs or wants. Its not like running gnome2 locks other filemanagers etc out or anything which is what you would think reading some peoples reactions.
