Why is it that people seem to think that the default desktop shell needs to accomodate for ALL types of usage?

What is so unreasonable with the default desktop shell being a simple, usable thingie that deals with 95% of users needs.

The other 5% can just find themselves a different file-manager. There is nothing wrong with this.

If you do not think you are efficient with Nautilus, use MC, ROX, bash etc.. and more power to you. There is no reason to ***** about Nautilus just because you find something else more efficient.
