No, but when Havoc Pennington is on record as saying that the average GNOME user is too much of a novice for decent configuration options, and has enforced that opinion in his steering of GNOME, users understandably feel a sense of despair over the way GNOME is going. The only reason GNOME 2 is better than Gnome 1.x is that it has awesome internationalization support (viva Pango!), but the continuing lack of configuration is making me wonder if I should continue with Gnome.
