Please don't talk shit, GIMP 1.3 does already have *lots* of improvements (not only in it's looks, but also in it's usability).

(altough it's still very beta)

Just *try* it instead of looking back at the far too old 1.2.x version.

I do agree though that we need a new path tool or even better yet; some vector tools ;)

But GIMP isn't a program for editing vector images..
