Buoh is an online comics reader for GNOME. This applications aims to help the comic lovers by providing an easy way of browsing and reading their favorites online comic stripes.

  • It can handle ~130 comics with a huge historical archive in all of them.
  • Easy, simple an eye-candy view of an online comic
  • Integration with GNOME (respecting the lockdowns and HIG compliance)

apparently, some of the comics stored at comics.com use Julian day numbers in the image file name. i found a perl script that generates an html file containing links to various comic strips (including Dilbert). it should be possible to rewrite the algorithm used to generate the Julian day number from Gregorian in C and utilize it in Buoh.
