We will like to support

We will like to support Dilbert, but it's not possible in a short future. The problem with this strip is that it adds a random number to the image url. Any help will be thankful :)

I suppose you refer to the "Add comic dialog". It's planned to be improved for next release, that was simply the fastest way to implement it. Categorizing the comics is a hard task (what criterion must be used?), but we have thought in that too.

The calendar was discussed above, I just preffer another solution.

Remembering the last comic saw is a interesting idea, thanks :)

Most of the programs needs to be installed to work, it's not a problem.

Cool application

This is a nice application it will replace my comic bookmark forlder!

A nice addition would be if the application could prefetch all the comics at startup.

Thanks for the feedback,

Thanks for the feedback, that's the real sense of this app :D

The prefetch is a good idea, we will discuss it, thanks

Adding comics by Anonymous George
re: Adding comics (PA) by Anonymous George

Yes, that works, but it gets

Yes, that works, but it gets an error in 4 of each 7 accesses. This is a better solution:

<comic id="pa"
class="date"
title="Penny Arcade"
author="Penny Arcade"
language="English"
generic_uri="http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/%Y/%Y%m%dl.jpg"
first="1998-11-18">
<restrict>2</restrict>
<restrict>4</restrict>
<restrict>6</restrict>
<restrict>7</restrict>
</comic>

Anyway, it won't include ALL the historical archive because it was published irregularly. It's good for the moment, but it will be done better for next releases.

Thanks! :D

Hi! I'm one of the developers of Buoh. We oriented Buoh just to be simple, and we think that adding a new comic will requiere a strange and complex dialog and most of the people will never use it.

If you want to add a new comic send us a bug or email us. We are thinking in a easy and smart way of jumping in a specific day (a calendar is a bit ugly)

Penny Arcade is planned to be added in future releases.

Thanks for the feedback.

You know what would be cool?

The coolest thing for this program would be a web service to get comic indexes. For example, you'd be able to set up an url which contains an xml index of webcomics and their chapters. And so you could put that xml on your blog as "my favorite webcomics" or something for other people to download.

Hi! Yes, that would be nice!

Hi!

Yes, that would be nice! That's one of my first ideas, but it was forgotten soon because there is no "comic interchange xml standard". The web service would be nice, but it would require an infastructure that nobody will give us.

We will think in another way for sharing comics.

Thanks for the feedback

It's an infraestucture stuff

It's an infraestucture stuff too, what web server is interesed in give that kind of service? Actually none.
