TESTING! TESTING! TESTING!
--------------------------

This release is a feature, user interface, and string frozen snapshot
primarily intended for wide public scrutiny before the final GNOME
2.12 release in September. GNOME uses odd minor version numbers to
indicate development status. Please check the 2.11 page for more info:

Happy testing!

Great work!

I just tried out the latest Ubuntu Breezy Live CD (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/) and GNOME looks great! Cairo backend for GTK really shines, especailly on the color picker wheel. I also really like the sleek new disk partitioner.

I think the login manager settings needs some polish though. There are way too many tabs sompared to the simplicity of all the other GNOME tools. That is a minor criticism, however.

I'm really looking forward to the official release.
