Username and reboot are not technobabble

That is a stupid assertion. Username and reboot are technical terms one needs to understand in order to use a computer. Practically everyone who is going to use a computer knows what they mean already. Even if they didn't, trying to disguise an inherently technical concept using nontechnical language is just misleading and more confusing. Should we say "restart"? Restart what?

A technical term that someone has to look up, is way better than a word someone knows that misleads them into doing the wrong thing. Stop trying to make it possible to use computers without learning anything. You make computers harder to use when you do that.
