-Another problem is window focusing in Nautilus. If I wan't to drag a file from an unfocused Nautilus window into an application, the focus shifts from the application where I'm working to the window where I select the file. This is extremely annoying. Innitiating a drag should not change window focus.

Well, the solution here is to have the focus follow the mouse by default.
