The latest version of Alexandria, a book collection manager for the GNOME desktop, has been released.

This release introduces amongst other things the possibility to generate XHTML Web pages (themable with CSS) from your libraries, book information retrieval from the Spanish Ministry of Culture, loaning support and a lot of bug fixes and usability/performances improvements!

My Dad would love this

He believes in keeping everybook he has ever loved. Of course he uses OS X though. I wonder if it will work on OS X under X with all the fink stuff installed. I don't give him too much hassle about using linux since he isn't on Windows.

I know he has created large spread sheets of his collection in the past.
