I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of the latest stable
release of The GNOME Desktop and
developer platform, 2.8.3.

This is the third and last maintenance release of the stable 2.8.x
series of GNOME and it contains a huge amount of bugfixes and other
improvements since the last release. Thanks to everyone involved in
making GNOME software better.

Changes

nautilus-burn

nautilus-burn is great for simple data-cd burning. But i'm missing one feature:
I can add as much files as i want to nautilus-burn and also start burning without getting a message that the data will not fit on the CD.

I would love a feature, were nautilus-burn will show me in the status-bar how much space is left and reject a file if it would exceed the limit.
