GUADEC-es 2005

GNOME
GNOME

The second edition of the GUADEC-es (International conference for Spanish speaking GNOME users and developers) will be held this year in A Corunha (Galicia, north-west of Spain), on 19-21 May. The conference, organized by the Gnome Hispano association, was placed strategically close in time to the VI Guadec in Stuttgart, trying to make it easy for Spanish speaking people coming from outside Europe to attend to both events.

The first edition of the conference was organized the past year in Almendralejo (Extremadura, Spain), and it was a big success with high participation of users, developers, companies and institutions.

The Call For Papers has already been published.

The organization hopes to welcome you all this year in A Corunha!

Wrong

Well, the fact that you're just plain wrong is obvious. There are Spanish cities or regions with English name equivalents like for example Majorca, The Basque Country, Catalonia, but for A Coruña it is "A Coruna" or "A Coruña", period.

So, please do us a favour and put "A Coruna" if your high ego or english keyboard won't let you use the ñ (which could be inserted through varios other means anyway...). We're not defending local alphabets, it's not like asking you to write cyrillic characters, just use Coruna for zeus' sake.
