Do they still fix things?

Every new release of GNOME, I hope that they'll fix at least one of the bugs that really bothers me, but it's like no one bothers to fix bugs anymore. Here's a handy guide to bugs that should have been fixed a while ago:

1) Select two directories with files in them. Right click to get to the properties menu and look at the size. Now close the properties dialog and then right click to reopen it. Wow, the size of the files changed! Keep repeating to get it to switch between the correct value and the erroneous one. #142714

2) Add and delete files from the Nautilus CD Creator thing. At some point, CPU usage jumps to 100%, though Nautilus appears not to hang. Some folders when dragged into the CD Creator will appear as "link to FILENAME" instead of just "FILENAME" as expcted. Sometimes even "another link to FILENAME" (when there IS NO link to the filename already).

3) View as Image Collection. I used to show this feature off to non-GNOME users because it worked so well... that is, until I found out that it crashes roughly everytime I use it. Supposedly the bug has something to do with resizing down to 2% of an image size and then closing the window or something crazy like that. Later, the Image Collection view claims that the folder can't be viewed. While this is clearly true, an image collection view that can't view image collections seems kind of pointless. Honestly, who writes this code? #129162

4 - 724) This is just scratching the surface. Oh, and then there's the raise-on-any-click in Metacity that makes DnD a complete pain in many cases. But wait, let's not add an option in GConf to Metacity to fix this problem easily, let's say it's a problem in Gtk and tell them to fix it. Oh, then it has to be fixed in every single application. Metacity is such a piece of garbage I can barely wrap my brain around. For example, why does it always put part of my save dialog off of the screen? I'm sure Havoc will blame somebody else for this problem and refuse to fix it (and maybe threaten to remove the few remaining options Metacity has), but window manager should probably know when they're placing part of a window off of the screen. #136307

It's funny, I don't use GNOME's GUI for a whole lot of things, but for the few things I use it for, every single one of them has a problem. Usually one that I can't fathom how it got through to each release. I really wish the GNOME developers would fix just a couple of bugs instead of adding stupid system administration tools. Device manager? WTF?
