The Mono development environment allows programmers to be more productive than they would be with conventional C programming. The C# language and the Mono APIs together provide a great platform to build applications on.

If that all they can say, that Mono "allows programmers to be more productive than they would be with conventional C programming"? C isn't the language to compare oneself against, if that's what they are aiming for. Most languages are more productive than C. Show me that Mono is more productive than Smalltalk and I might listen.
