GNOME-Fx is a theme for Mozilla Firefox which tries to make Firefox look like a native GNOME application. It uses the standard GNOME icons and also has icons for the menu items. Screenshots.

Well, actually it's the other way around! It's harder to create instant apply (IMHO, and I've done both types in GTK) than a with button 'Apply' and/or 'Ok'. Much more to think of with instant apply.

On the other hand, user experience is supposed to be easier, since it doesn't require the extra "Confirm" action. Also, often changing a setting isn't consider 'fatal', you can just change it back :-) Many applications provide a "Revert to default" for settings that may get screwed up by the user...
