Re: gTweakUI 0.0.6 released

gconf-editor is alive

there are a 2.7.0 version now, with some bugs corrected and improvments waiting

all keys in gconf should be documented, it's a applications developpers problems, not Gconf or Gconf-editor problems

too much useless settings it's a pain, go ask to any non-litterate computer users.

go to compare Windows/kde/old gnome with OS X

useless settings to works are not useful, they clutter the interface

hackers and passionnate can use gconf-editor, or gconf tools or that nice specific "advanced users" configurator

it's sane.

this kind of program will be an option.

but please : people, the MANY much lot of people who simply _WORKS_ with computers don't care about "options", they want SIMPLICITY (ease and logical and fast to grasp, they don"t like to choose between many options or read huge dialog boxes with text) and efficience

and it's respectable.

gnome 2's goal of "clean" is the better things Free(dom) Software got from years.
