  • Extra Nautilus Preferences

This release is beta but it is very usable right now. We plan to add more dialogs soon including galeon, panels, panel objects(menus etc) and gtk2 theme colors.

Re: gTweakUI 0.0.6 released

The reason this app exists is because preferences dialogs aren't going to "improve." Gnome 2's policy has always been "Only show important options." While gedit, nautilus, metacity, et al, have tonnes of options, very few really need to be set by the average user, and rather than create a messy overfilled preference dialog, the less useful ones are left out.

Many people (well, not too many, but they're loud) complain about having to go into gconf-editor to set these advanced features so gTweakUI is pretty much doing what TweakUI does for Windows XP, giving a prettier interface for setting "Power User" options.
