Zinf 2.2.5 released

Gnome Multimedia
Gnome Multimedia

Zinf 2.2.5 has been released. This is the first version of zinf to use GTK2 for it's interface. This is good news for those of us who don't really get on with RB, but want to rid the world of GTK1.

As always I'm sure the Zinf developers would appreciate user feedback (and of course more people willing to help).

Re: One line explanation

Oh, bull. I'd never heard of it either. I think that "everyone already knows" attitude is really at the core of this problem, not the leaving out of any particular summary.

And to make matters worse yet, it has one of those meaningless names -- at least "FreeAmp" bears some resemblence to the name of popular app at which they're taking aim.

But I digress. Give us four words to describe your app when you make an announcement. Maybe some people do already know what it is, but you want EVERYBODY ELSE to know what it is too, don't you?

Even if the submitter doesn't include the four-word description of the app, why can't the editor? I mean, come on -- this SAME argument comes up EVERY TIME SOMEONE SUBMITS THEIR ANNOUNCEMENT without the proper description.

That ought to uniformly clue people in. I mean, it's the same thing, every time!!! And it's so simple to avoid!
