Zinf 2.2.5 released

Gnome Multimedia
Gnome Multimedia

Zinf 2.2.5 has been released. This is the first version of zinf to use GTK2 for it's interface. This is good news for those of us who don't really get on with RB, but want to rid the world of GTK1.

As always I'm sure the Zinf developers would appreciate user feedback (and of course more people willing to help).

Re: Zinf 2.2.5 released

As a Zinf developer (and the person who ported zinf to gtk2), I have given serious consideration to creating a non-themed interface. However after spending a long time mucking around in gaim, I have yet to come up with anything that satisfies me.

Suggestion for UI design: turn off the computer, take a notebook and a pencil. Close your eyes, think of a general layout and draw it. Refine, if you don't like it start again, etc.

Then you can fire up glade and start doing prototypes. But for UI "inspiration" it's better to be isolated from other UIs (that is, don't get a computer desktop showing).
