Gretools released -- GNOME vocabulary builder

GNOME
GNOME

I have released gretools, a vocabulary building tool for GNOME. It is a fun and efficient way to learn new words. Gretools consists of a synonym quiz and a word guessing game and also allows you to look up words. It automatically remembers the words you got wrong and helps you revise those words. You can set a filter to restrict the space of words to practice on. Gretools is extremely useful for preparing for word tests.

Re: Gretools released -- GNOME vocabulary builder

the name seems strange to me, I cannot even guess what "Gre" might mean. I would encourage you to choose a name that was more clear and immediately gave the user a better idea of what the program does. I read your web page but could see no explanation of what the name might mean.

[When I thought 'GRE' tools, I thought gecko runtime eviroment (see Mozilla) which is clearly wrong]

great concept and with some UI cleanup and simplificatoin I'm sure it will be fanstatic
