OpenOffice 2.0 Concept Overview and GNOME

OpenOffice.org

This makes very interesting reading:
http://tools.openoffice.org/releases/q-concept.html. The document basically outlines the plan for OpenOffice.org 2.0. A significant portion of the document deals with GNOME integration. From a quick read, it seems that there is some overlap with what the Ximian guys are currently doing.

Re: Wingaim

Ah... I should have mentioned that I know of the Win32 counterparts to each of the softwares mentioned...

I've yet to try OO.o in windows, but I doubt it'll be as speedy as it is in linux (and certainly not as fast on the bootup as Word), and I found gaim very awkward in Windows back when I tried it w/ version .64 or so.

I'll try them agan though guys... thanks for the links.
