OpenOffice 2.0 Concept Overview and GNOME

This makes very interesting reading:
http://tools.openoffice.org/releases/q-concept.html. The document basically outlines the plan for OpenOffice.org 2.0. A significant portion of the document deals with GNOME integration. From a quick read, it seems that there is some overlap with what the Ximian guys are currently doing.

Re: OpenOffice 2.0 Concept Overview and GNOME

Commercial interest in free software is a good thing, as long as it remains free. Ximian interest in OpenOffice.org is commercial, but OOo remains free software. The objective of the FSF is to have free software, NOT software without commercial interest.
