The past two weeks have been very good for the team. We've had some of the remote hackers (Michael, Mike, Larry, JP) in town, which gave us a chance to make a lot of progress on the 2.0 plans.

Re: Evolution 2.0 plans

Usually I don't comment on things like this, but it would be GREAT if evolution and kmail used the same system to store emails. Reason being that if evolution crashes I will be able to just open up kmail and read the emails. Plus, I could write an app that handles the email on my local directory and the KDE people could use it.

Anyways, I love evo and being able to use the new libraries in outside apps will be the next step in making GNOME more interactive.

I have heard rumors about evo becoming an official GNOME project - is this true?
