Ximian Acquired By Novell

This doesn't really compare to Eazel. Eazel put out a lot of press releases and a piece of software masquerading as a file manager that did little well. Nautilus is no longer that product, thank God. Ximian has done and continues to do good things for the community. Eazel were world-class snake-oil salesmen. Eazel blew through a ton of funding with little to show for it. Ximian has been funded and is still doing well years later. Let's hope that Novell doesn't turn Ximian into a worthless entity like Eazel was.
