In this week's episode, Nadav's relaunches a far more advanced version of the Open Text Summarizer, OTS: Stemming the Tide. Dom releases 1.99.3 to the world, which is already available on Latest Releases page. We learn that we cannot --enable-gnome due to header issues from GNOME 2.2. Most interesting of all, Dom releases the AbiWord 2.2: TSWMRCAUSSWVLSD RoadMap. Lots of discussion and a criawips screenshot waiting within.

Bug 5293

First let me say that abiword is one of the best and most satisfying open source products I currently use. It does everything I've ever wanted any word processor to do, it looks good, it opens fast, and it's in general a feather in the cap of open source.

That being said, has there been any progress made on Bug 5293? It's the only showstopper left that I can find in 1.99.3.

In case you're wondering, I can reproduce this bug everytime on a gentoo linux box.
