New GNOME2 default theme proposal

Gnome Art
Gnome Art

Eugenia over at OSnews has published a proposal for a new default theme for GNOME2. This is a follow-up to a recent article
about GNOME2 where she says: "Gnome's default widget look is a very boring one, and maybe one of its weak points [...] most users stay with the defaults, so these should be attractive and make sense". I must say the proposed theme looks very, very nice, and I would really want to see this as the default GNOME theme.

Re: New GNOME2 default theme proposal

Look at Redhat 9.

Serious and most frequently apps (the one on the panel by default) are : Mozilla --> Foreign toolkit; OOo --> Foreign toolkit; Hopefully there's Evo that will be gtk2 stable soon...

I don't know why people are working hard on bringing multiple themes (OO, moz, etc.) instead of trying to enhance apps like Gnumeric, Abiword, etc. that _do already_ fit in the Gnome framework...

For the typical Redhat user, the real gnome thing is all about small preferences apps, a panel and a file manager. 90% of the time is spent in non-gnome apps.
