Igalia releases first public release of Fisterra: Open Source ERP

FISTERRA is a project that aims to
provide a generic open-source ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner) . It currently supports invoicing, stock
and payment management, POS (Point-Of-Sale), distributed work and
offline replication. It uses Gnome
technologies and PostgreSQL (libgda from the GNOME-DB project).

Today on May 1st we have released the first version of Fisterra as a new
free software application developed by Igalia. Fisterra is an
enterprise management application, published under the GPL license.

This project is the beginning of an effort to build a complete free software
ERP solution. Everyone is invited to download
and play with the code. Have Fun!.
