Please forgive me for posting a Windows related announcement, I hope you make an exception and post this one. IMHO, it is rather important given the fact that a lot of GTK/Gnome apps (Sodipodi, Gaim, Workrave, ...) are being ported to Windows these days...

GTK-Wimp is a Windows GTK theme that mimicks a Windows native look and feel by delegating the drawing to the Windows API, resulting in near perfect desktop integration, especially when you run XP. GTK-Wimp respects your system font and colors. Have a look at the results!

And then? I never understood that theme unification stuff. It doesn't harm, but won't do any difference to the more important differences in behaviour...

Windows is quite successful even though each application looks differently, depending on the Win API it has been written for (for example start the command line in WinXP, it doesnt use Luna). VB and Delphi apps look completely different. Apple even deliberately added a second theme for its MacOSX apps, 'brushed metal', and mixes them with reglar Aqua apps.
